Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AEM Backend Developer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Node.js, and Adobe App Builder to design, develop, and implement scalable backend solutions and integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AEM backend development, server-side programming, API integrations, and Adobe App Builder-based application development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend components and services using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Develop server-side applications and backend services using Node.js.
- Build and extend applications using Adobe App Builder and Adobe I/O Runtime.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.
- Work with AEM Sling Models, OSGi services, servlets, and other backend components.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT where applicable.
- Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and external enterprise systems.
- Develop event-driven and serverless applications using Adobe App Builder capabilities.
- Troubleshoot backend issues, optimize application performance, and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers,



architects, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Technical Skills

- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM): Strong hands-on experience in AEM backend development, including Sling Models, OSGi, servlets, services, and content APIs.
- Node.js: Solid proficiency in server-side development, asynchronous programming, API development, and backend integrations.
- Adobe App Builder: Practical experience developing, extending, and deploying applications using Adobe App Builder and Adobe I/O Runtime.
- API Integration: Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, webhooks, and third-party system integrations.
- Authentication & Security: Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, and secure application development.
- JavaScript: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, and modern development practices.
- Cloud & Serverless: Experience with serverless functions, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based application development.
- Debugging & Performance: Ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues and optimize application performance.
