Role Summary: Serves as the main class teacher for a group of young learners. She is responsible for their academic, emotional and social development in a safe, nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in English, Maths, EVS, language and activity-based subjects.
- Build foundational literacy, numeracy and motor skills through play and hands-on learning.
- Take attendance, manage the classroom and maintain discipline with a caring approach.
- Observe and assess each child’s progress,
and keep records and report cards.
- Communicate regularly with parents through PTMs, diaries and updates.
- Coordinate with subject teachers and the school coordinator.
- Organise and take part in school events, assemblies, celebrations and field trips.
Qualifications
- Graduate, with NTT/ECCEd, D.El.Ed, B.Ed or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a primary or pre-primary setting (freshers may be considered)
