Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspection of machined engineering plastic components as per drawings and customer specifications.
- Check critical dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T; requirements using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Inspect components for machining defects such as burrs, scratches, warpage, deformation, and dimensional variation.
- Monitor CNC machining quality and coordinate with Production to resolve process-related issues.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming components and raise NCRs.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce rejection and rework.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure measuring instruments are calibrated.
- Ensure compliance with Control Plans, PFMEA, and customer quality requirements.
Required Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Experience in in-process inspection of machined components, preferably engineering plastics.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, MSA, and basic quality documentation.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
