We need a IPQA engineer for Chemical lab from the existing approved positions.

Job description is as below:

Job Description – Chemical Lab Engineer

Department: Quality

Location: YHS
Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (Diploma / Degree)
Experience: 2–5 years

Key Responsibilities

- Testing of resin, hardener, insulating oil and other process chemicals.
- Perform gelation / gel time testing of resin-hardener mixtures.
- Testing of viscosity, density, moisture content, pot life and curing time.
- Perform DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) testing for evaluation of curing and thermal behaviour.
- Check resin-hardener mixing ratio and curing behaviour.
- Perform insulating oil testing, including BDV, moisture content, acidity and Tan Delta, as applicable.
- Verify supplier COA against specifications and actual test results.
- Monitor batch-to-batch variation of resin, hardener and insulating oil.
- Conduct laboratory trials for changes in material, mixing ratio, temperature and curing conditions.




- Maintain test reports, samples and laboratory records.
- Responsible for calibration, verification and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure instruments are within valid calibration status before use.
- Coordinate calibration activities with external calibration agencies, wherever required.
- Ensure proper storage, shelf-life control and protected handling of chemicals.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Supplier Quality and Engineering for material-related issues.

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience in resin & hardener testing, DSC, gelation/curing analysis, insulating oil testing and laboratory instrument calibration is preferred.

Experience in epoxy resin, polymers, composites etc. will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
