We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with solid expertise in 2D and 3D drafting and AutoCAD to prepare accurate engineering drawings and models for civil construction projects. The role involves translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related software
- Create detailed layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and construction drawings
- Develop 3D models
- Modify and update drawings based on design changes and site requirements
- Coordinate with design engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accuracy
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards, codes, and specifications
- Maintain drawing documentation, revisions, and drawing registers
- Assist in quantity take-offs and basic design calculations (if required)
- Support construction teams by providing clear and accurate drawings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) for civil engineering projects
- Knowledge of civil drafting standards and construction practice
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
