About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Lead with strong expertise in Indian and Australian accounting practices, financial auditing, taxation, and GST compliance. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating audits, and maintaining accurate financial records across both jurisdictions.

The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, professional integrity, accountability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for India and Australia.
- Oversee financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle GST compliance, tax-related documentation, and statutory reporting requirements applicable in India and Australia.
- Coordinate internal and external financial audits and ensure the timely availability of supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation regulations, and statutory requirements in both countries.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, cash flow statements, and other financial analyses.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Identify discrepancies, implement appropriate financial controls, and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely completion of financial reporting and compliance activities.
- Work closely with management, auditors, consultants,



and other stakeholders to support business and financial decisions.
- Take complete ownership of assigned responsibilities and ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution of deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, auditing, and taxation.
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian and Australian accounting practices, financial auditing, and GST regulations.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and taxation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, data analysis, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and other relevant financial tools.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and professional ethics.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute effectively as part of a team.

Work Requirements:

- This is a work-from-office position based in Kochi.
- Candidates must be willing to work five or six days per week, depending on business requirements.
- Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
