Job Description: PPC Executive (Production Planning & Control)

Industry: Printing & Paper Converting (paper cups, containers, lids, plates, food packaging)
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Salary: ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
Reports to: Production Manager / Plant Head

Role Summary

We are looking for a PPC Executive to plan and control daily production across our printing and paper converting machines. You will make sure job cards are issued on time, machines run efficiently, raw material is available, and customer orders are delivered as committed.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily and weekly production plans for all machines, shift-wise (Day/Night), based on order priority and delivery dates.
- Create and issue job cards with correct machine number, product, size, quantity and operator details.
- Coordinate with the Stores/Purchase team to ensure paper, PE-coated board, kraft, inks and other materials are available before production.
- Plan machine loading to minimize changeovers, mould/die changes and idle time.
- Track production against plan, and follow up on delays, breakdowns and shortages.
- Maintain production, wastage and dispatch records, and report daily output and rejection to management.
- Coordinate with the Printing, Die-cutting, Forming and Packing departments for smooth workflow.
- Work with the Sales/Dispatch team on order status, delivery schedules and urgent requirements.
- Monitor wastage, machine efficiency and OEE, and suggest improvements.




- Keep stock of finished goods and semi-finished goods updated.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Graduate or Diploma (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, or a Diploma in Printing/Packaging/Mechanical preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of PPC experience in printing and paper converting or packaging, such as paper cups, paper containers, lids, plates or flexible/folding carton.
- Positive knowledge of paper cup and container machines, printing, flexo or offset processes, and die-cutting.
- Understanding of raw material specifications (GSM, PE coating, kraft/white board) and material consumption calculations.
- Proficient in MS Excel, and familiar with ERP or production software.
- Strong coordination, follow-up and communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shifts and urgent orders.

Good to Have

- Experience in a high-volume, multi-machine plant.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S or wastage reduction.
