1. Job Summary

The Computer Hardware Trainer will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training in computer hardware, maintenance, troubleshooting, and networking. The trainer must ensure that students develop the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required for employment in the IT hardware and networking industry.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theoretical and practical classes on computer hardware and networking.
- Teach computer assembly, disassembly, installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Train students in troubleshooting hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Provide practical training in operating system installation, driver installation, software configuration, and system maintenance.
- Teach basic networking concepts, LAN setup, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate the use of diagnostic tools and appropriate hardware maintenance techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical assignments, presentations, and training materials.
- Conduct regular assessments, practical examinations, and student performance evaluations.
- Maintain attendance records, assessment records, lesson plans, and other academic documentation.
- Ensure proper utilisation, maintenance, and safety of laboratory equipment and tools.
- Support students in projects, internships, placement preparation, and industry-oriented practical activities.
- Follow the prescribed curriculum, academic calendar, and institutional training standards.

3. Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and their functions.




- Practical expertise in computer assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows installation, configuration, and basic operating system troubleshooting.
- Understanding of BIOS/UEFI, drivers, storage devices, RAM, processors, and motherboards.
- Knowledge of basic computer networking, IP addressing, LAN configuration, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with printers, peripherals, diagnostic tools, and preventive maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, data backup, and computer system security.

4. Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Hardware & Networking, or a related discipline.
- Relevant technical certifications in computer hardware and networking will be an added advantage.

5. Experience

- Freshers with strong practical knowledge may be considered.
- Prior experience in technical training, teaching, or IT hardware support will be preferred.

6. Required Competencies

- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.

- Adherence to institutional policies, training standards, and academic schedules.

Pay: ₹9,300.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
