Position: High School Biology Teacher Department: Academics Classes: 8th to 10th Reports To: Academic Coordinator / Principal

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to teach high school students, develop their scientific knowledge, and prepare them for academic examinations. The ideal candidate should have robust subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to explain complex biological concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach topics such as human anatomy, physiology, genetics, ecology, plant biology, and cell biology.
- Explain scientific concepts through diagrams, models, experiments, and practical demonstrations.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and examination question papers.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for school examinations and competitive academic assessments, as applicable.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Identify students' learning needs and provide additional academic support where required.
- Conduct and supervise laboratory activities while ensuring safety procedures are followed.




- Maintain academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
- Coordinate with parents, colleagues, and school management regarding students' academic progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school activities.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Zoology, Botany, Life Sciences, or a related subject.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred or as required by the institution.
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputed school is preferred.

Experience

- Relevant experience teaching Biology or Biological Science at the high school level is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
