Job Summary

Vihaas Design Technologies is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Designer to join our Electronic Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electronics, circuit fundamentals, PCB layout techniques, and hands-on experience with industry-standard PCB design software.

The candidate will be responsible for developing circuit schematics, designing high-quality PCB layouts, validating circuit performance, and supporting prototype testing to deliver reliable and cost-effective electronic solutions for telecommunications projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits based on project requirements.
- Create circuit schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, or other PCB design software.
- Perform circuit simulation and analysis using tools such as SPICE or LTspice, where required.
- Ensure PCB designs meet electrical, functional, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
- Select suitable electronic components based on performance, availability, cost, and project specifications.
- Conduct prototype testing, troubleshooting, and design verification.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layout files,



Bill of Materials (BOM), and test reports.
- Follow PCB design best practices, including component placement, routing, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and design rule checks (DRC).

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in PCB design, preferably in the electronics, telecommunications, or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in at least one PCB design software, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, or another industry-standard tool.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit fundamentals, schematic design, and PCB layout techniques.
- Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Knowledge of high-frequency/RF circuit design and microcontroller-based systems.
- Familiarity with circuit simulation, prototype testing, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of PCB design rules, DRC, and DFM principles.
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
