Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking MW Fitter to support mechanical maintenance activities at our Coal Handling Plant (CHP). The candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical equipment to ensure smooth and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine mechanical maintenance, inspection, and repair of CHP equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance of conveyor belts, idlers, rollers, pulleys, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Carry out fitting, alignment, dismantling, and reassembly of mechanical components.
- Support maintenance of crushers, vibrating screens, feeders, and other coal handling equipment.
- Identify mechanical faults and report equipment abnormalities to the supervisor.




- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Follow work permits, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and all applicable plant safety requirements.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain good housekeeping and complete assigned maintenance work within the specified timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- ITI in Fitter trade preferred.
- Relevant experience in mechanical maintenance at an industrial plant or CHP facility preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, fitting practices, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintenance quality.
