Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience and skills)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused, and result-oriented Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail outlets across Lajong Electronics, FirstCry, and The Shillong Wine Store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing store operations, driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, leading the store team, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The candidate should possess solid leadership, communication, sales, and operational management skills, along with the ability to achieve business targets and maintain company standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned retail outlet.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, well-stocked, and presentable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor store opening and closing procedures and ensure proper cash handling.

2. Sales and Business Development

- Achieve monthly sales targets and improve overall store performance.
- Develop strategies to increase sales, customer retention, and profitability.
- Monitor sales trends, product performance, and customer preferences.
- Ensure effective product display, merchandising, and promotional activities.

3. Inventory and Stock Management

- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.




- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Minimize stock discrepancies, damages, losses, and pilferage.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the management team for procurement and stock availability.

4. Team Management

- Supervise, guide, and motivate store employees to achieve business targets.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance and punctuality.
- Train employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Maintain discipline, teamwork, and professional conduct within the store.

5. Customer Service

- Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Handle customer complaints, queries, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure staff provide accurate product information and appropriate assistance.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

6. Reporting and Administration

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and stock reports.
- Monitor billing, cash reconciliation, expenses, and store performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports to management on time.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements.

7. Business-Specific Responsibilities

- Lajong Electronics: Ensure product knowledge,



warranty coordination, proper handling of electronic goods, and effective management of high-value inventory.
- FirstCry: Maintain proper merchandising of baby products, clothing, toys, and childcare essentials while ensuring a customer-friendly shopping experience.
- The Shillong Wine Store: Ensure responsible retail sales, proper stock and expiry monitoring, age verification where required, and strict compliance with applicable excise and licensing regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in retail sales, store operations, or store management.
- Experience in electronics, baby and kids' retail, FMCG, or beverage retail will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, billing systems, MS Excel, and sales reporting.
- Ability to manage a team, achieve targets, and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Compensation

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and suitability for the role.
