Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Economics Teacher on a part-time basis to teach Economics to Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12. The candidate must be capable of teaching Economics at the senior secondary level (Classes 11 and 12), with 3–4 years of relevant teaching experience and good English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics to Classes 9 and 10 and to Classes 11 and 12 as per the school's board syllabus.
- Plan lessons and explain concepts clearly using examples, case studies and data.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations.
- Set and evaluate assignments, tests and examinations, and maintain student records.
- Monitor student progress and give timely feedback to students and parents.
- Coordinate with the academic team on timetable, syllabus coverage and assessments.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Capable of teaching Economics to Classes 11 and 12.
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Postgraduate degree in Economics and B.Ed preferred.
Work Schedule
- Part-time position: half-day schedule or 4 days a week.
