Roles & Responsibilities

1. Procurement Officer/Associate is responsible for overseeing purchasing

activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of

appropriate quality.

2. Procurement Officer/Associate shall collate/identify requirements of Project

site in consultation with SPV Heads/O&M; Team, evaluate various suppliers

for quotation and negotiating, and once finalized proceed with Purchase

Order (PO) formalities.

3. Maintain proper Supplier relations, evaluating supply options, ensuring all

formalities for purchases, coordinating with suppliers for GST invoices being

in accordance with correct HSSN code (under direction of Accounts and

Taxation team)

4. Maintain accurate records and following-up with accounts team to ensure

timely payments to suppliers in accordance with terms & conditions of PO.

5. Collate all procurement requirements for various Project Highway assets

from Project site and HO from O&M;/ Technical teams

Identify suitable and potential Vendors and procure quotations for required

items along with the terms & conditions.

7. Evaluation of quotations received from various vendors and preparation of

comparison statement on apple-to-apple basis.

8. Negotiation with qualified/shortlisted Vendors and securing final quotations.

9. Gathering necessary vendor details for Vendor registration & Management

approval of the vendor.

10. Follow-up with the vendors for delivery of materials, coordinating with the

site team till delivery, getting requisite quality inspections and ensuring GRN

entries with site teams.

Skills & Attributes

- Must have positive conversation skills and ability to coordinate with multiple

stakeholders

Qualification-

Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Commerce with Procurement related diploma or work based
learning
