Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with strong knowledge of purchase activities, vendor development, plastic processing, and mould-related follow-ups. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, developing reliable vendors, negotiating prices, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services for smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchase activities, including sourcing, quotation collection, price comparison, negotiation, and Purchase Order (PO) preparation.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop current vendors for raw materials, mould components, standard parts, tools, consumables, and engineering materials.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor network for mould manufacturing and plastic processing requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for mould-related components, machining jobs, outsourced processes, mould modifications, and corrections.
- Follow up regularly with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of outsourced jobs as per committed schedules.
- Understand basic plastic processing and injection moulding requirements relevant to mould manufacturing.
- Coordinate with Design, Planning, Production, Tool Room, Stores, and Quality departments to fulfil purchase requirements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor pending Purchase Orders, delayed supplies,



and urgent material requirements to avoid production delays.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations, Purchase Orders, and delivery tracking reports.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department regarding supplier invoices and payment-related matters.

Required Skills

- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchase and procurement activities.
- Practical knowledge of vendor development and supplier management.
- Knowledge of plastic processing and injection moulding.
- Experience in mould manufacturing and mould-related follow-ups.
- Good negotiation, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email communication, and purchase documentation.
- ERP or inventory software knowledge will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have passed 12th, ITI, or Graduation are eligible to apply, provided they have the required practical experience and knowledge.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in mould manufacturing, plastic processing, injection moulding, engineering components, or tool room procurement will be preferred.

The candidate should be proactive in vendor development, capable of handling purchase independently, and effective in coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely completion of mould-related activities.

Salary: As per experience and company norms
