The Opportunity

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Functional Consultant who can bridge the gap between business challenges and technology solutions. This role is ideal for a professional who understands business processes, enjoys engaging with clients, and can transform complex requirements into practical, scalable, and effective solutions.

You will take ownership of functional consulting activities, guide clients through implementation processes, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Consulting & Requirement Analysis

- Engage with clients to understand their business models, operational workflows, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and process analysis workshops.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Translate business requirements into transparent functional specifications and implementation plans.

2. Solution Design & Implementation

- Design functional solutions aligned with client requirements and business goals.
- Configure and implement business applications based on approved functional specifications.
- Map existing workflows to system capabilities and recommend suitable process improvements.
- Coordinate with developers for customizations, integrations, and technical enhancements.
- Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with implementation best practices.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as a key point of contact between clients and internal technical teams.
- Communicate solution approaches, project updates, risks, and dependencies clearly.
- Conduct product demonstrations, user training, and functional walkthroughs.
- Manage client expectations and support effective resolution of functional issues.

4. Testing, Deployment & Support

- Prepare functional test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate implemented solutions against business requirements.
- Coordinate deployment activities, user onboarding, and post-implementation support.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with relevant teams.

5. Documentation & Project Coordination

- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flow diagrams, and user guides.
- Track requirements, change requests, action items, and implementation milestones.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of consulting practices and implementation quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–5 years of experience in Functional Consulting, ERP Implementation, Business Process Consulting, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of business workflows and enterprise application implementation.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design functional solutions.




- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in functional configuration, testing, documentation, and user training.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with ERP systems, business management applications, or process automation projects.
- Hands-on experience with ERPNext or the Frappe Framework.
- Understanding of business functions such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, HR, or Operations.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and project management practices.
