Job Summary

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of materials, tools, equipment, and consumables. The role requires strong inventory management skills along with proficiency in computer applications for maintaining accurate stock records and reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in software and stock registers.
- Issue materials against approved requisitions and maintain issue records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), challans, invoices, and material issue slips.
- Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and project teams regarding material requirements.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping of the store.
- Maintain records of tools, machinery, and consumables.

Computer Knowledge Requirements

- Proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, stock sheets, reports, basic formulas).
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook.




- Ability to maintain inventory records in ERP/Store Management Software.
- Knowledge of preparing stock statements, material tracking reports, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ability to generate and maintain digital records and reports.

Qualifications

- Graduate or Diploma in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or inventory control.
- Experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Skills Required

- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials is an added advantage.

Preferred for Construction Projects

- Knowledge of cement, steel, Mivan formwork, shuttering materials, electrical and plumbing materials.
- Experience maintaining material inward/outward records for project sites.
- Familiarity with BOQ-based material tracking and consumption monitoring.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
