We are looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper for a restaurant in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The candidate should have experience in inventory management, stock control, and supplier coordination, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers for orders, deliveries, and pending items.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and freshness.
- Maintain Goods Received Notes (GRNs), purchase records, and stock registers.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for proper stock rotation and expiry management.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team and restaurant management regarding stock requirements.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of food items and other supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the storeroom.
Required Skills
- Experience in restaurant or hotel inventory management.
- Good knowledge of supplier coordination and purchase procedures.
- Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, GRN, and stock reconciliation.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel or inventory software preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate candidates preferred.
- Prior experience as a Storekeeper, Store Executive, or Inventory Controller in a restaurant or hotel will be an advantage.
