About the Role

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and result-oriented PGT – Economics teacher to teach Classes XI and XII. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, sound numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to simplify complex economic concepts while preparing students for CBSE board examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Economics to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Explain microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, and economic concepts through practical examples.
- Help students understand numerical problems, diagrams, data interpretation, and economic analysis.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations through regular assessments, revision sessions, and practice papers.
- Evaluate students’ academic performance and provide individual feedback.
- Maintain students’ academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.
- Use interactive teaching methods to develop students’ analytical and problem-solving abilities.




- Coordinate with the academic team to monitor student progress and improve learning outcomes.
- Maintain classroom discipline and participate in school meetings and academic activities.

Required Profile

- Master’s degree in Economics (M.A. Economics or equivalent relevant qualification).
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Prior experience teaching Economics at the senior secondary level will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and board examination pattern.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain theoretical concepts and numerical problems effectively.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, question papers, and academic reports.
