Your Task

This role involves owning the end-to-end architecture for SAP Commerce B2B Accelerator, including OCC integration patterns, storefront approach, and accelerator vs Spartacus headless implementations. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into modular designs, extensions, services, facades, controllers, and OCC endpoints with clear non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end architecture for SAP Commerce B2B Accelerator, OCC integration patterns, storefront approach, and accelerator vs Spartacus headless solutions
- Translate business requirements into modular designs, extensions, services, facades, controllers, and OCC endpoints with clear non-functional requirements
- Define engineering standards, code conventions, branching strategy, code reviews, Definition of Done, and API versioning guidelines
- Govern integrations mainly with ERP and CPI, including security, error handling, retries, monitoring, and data consistency
- Guide performance and scalability strategies, including caching strategy, adaptable search tuning, indexing, Solr optimization, page performance, and load testing approach
- Lead incident root cause analysis and technical risk management
- Ensure observability through logs, metrics, tracing, and runbooks

Your Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Commerce Architect with deep expertise in SAP Commerce B2B solutions, architecture design, integration patterns, and technical leadership to drive end-to-end implementation and governance.

Must Have Skills

- Experience with end-to-end architecture for SAP Commerce
- Strong knowledge of SAP Commerce B2B Accelerator
- Experience with OCC integration patterns




- Knowledge of storefront approaches including accelerator vs Spartacus headless
- Ability to translate business requirements into modular designs
- Experience with SAP Commerce extensions, services, facades, and controllers
- Experience with OCC endpoints development
- Strong understanding of non-functional requirements
- Ability to define engineering standards and code conventions
- Experience with branching strategy and code reviews
- Knowledge of Definition of Done practices
- Experience with API versioning guidelines
- Experience governing integrations with ERP systems
- Knowledge of CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
- Strong understanding of integration security
- Experience with error handling and retry mechanisms
- Knowledge of monitoring and data consistency practices
- Ability to guide performance and scalability strategies
- Experience with caching strategies
- Knowledge of flexible search tuning
- Experience with indexing and Solr
- Understanding of page performance optimization
- Experience with load testing approaches
- Ability to lead incident root cause analysis
- Experience with technical risk management
- Knowledge of observability including logs, metrics, and tracing
- Experience creating and maintaining runbooks
