About the Role

RiskMan Consulting LLP is seeking professionals to conduct internal audits and business process reviews for hotels, resorts, restaurants, and QSR chains. The role involves evaluating operational efficiency, financial controls, regulatory compliance, and business risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit room revenue, reservations, check-in/check-out, discounts, and night audit processes.
- Review food & beverage operations, POS controls, banquet billing, food costs, wastage, and inventory management.
- Audit procurement, vendor management, outsourced services, OTA commissions, and loyalty programmes.
- Review regulatory compliance, including FSSAI, liquor licences, and fire and safety requirements.
- Analyse PMS/POS data to identify revenue leakages, unusual discounts, and control exceptions.
- Execute risk-based audits covering procurement, sales, inventory, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Prepare process notes, flowcharts, Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs), audit workpapers, and reports.
- Test internal controls, identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation.
- Support IFC/ICFR audits under the Companies Act, 2013, and coordinate with clients and engagement managers.
- Manage assigned audit areas based on experience; Consultant-level professionals will also guide junior team members.




- Travel to client locations as required.

Required Qualifications

- CA / CA Inter, MBA (Finance), M.Com, B.Com, or a relevant Commerce, Finance, or Accounting qualification.
- 1–5 years of experience in internal audit, business process audit, or risk advisory; articleship experience is considered.
- Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and ICAI Standards on Internal Audit.
- Strong analytical, documentation, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in hospitality audits across hotels, resorts, restaurants, or QSR chains.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS, IDS, Micros, or other POS/PMS platforms.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Tally.
- CIA, CISA, or CFE certification, or willingness to pursue certification.
- Experience with an audit firm, Big 4, consulting firm, or in-house internal audit function.
