Job Description – HVAC & Fire Fighting Engineer

Position: HVAC & Fire Fighting Engineer
Location: Punjagutta, Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3–6 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HVAC & Fire Fighting Engineer to handle the design, planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC and fire protection systems for building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and review HVAC systems, including ventilation, air conditioning, ducting, and equipment selection.
- Prepare and review HVAC layouts, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Design and coordinate fire fighting systems, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire pumps, and fire hose reels.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NBC, NFPA, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP teams.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings, material specifications, and contractor proposals.




- Conduct site inspections and monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and quality compliance.
- Identify design conflicts and resolve technical issues in coordination with project teams.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, ventilation, and equipment selection.
- Knowledge of fire protection design, hydraulic calculations, sprinkler layouts, and fire pump systems.
- Familiarity with NBC, relevant NFPA standards, and applicable fire safety regulations.
- Good technical documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Experience in consultancy, building design, or MEP projects is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, institutional buildings, residential complexes, or other large-scale building projects.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
