Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Chennai. Beyond technical skills, we value mindset, reliability, and attitude above everything else. Key Responsibilities

- Short-Form Editing: Edit fast-paced Reels and short clips focusing on strong hooks, dynamic captions, sound effects, and immediate viewer engagement.
- Long-Form Talking Head Editing: Edit long-form talking-head videos (like podcasts or founder monologues). Your job is to take raw dialogue and make it tight, seamless, and high-retention: cutting dead air, fixing pacing, and using b-roll or visual cues to keep the viewer hooked from start to finish without making it feel like a chaotic short.
- Enhancements: Integrate clean audio design, background music, basic motion graphics, and natural color grading.
- Execution & Deadlines: Manage project timelines efficiently to ensure all videos are edited, reviewed,



and finalized well before publishing deadlines.
- Collaboration: Actively engage with the team, share creative suggestions, and brainstorm ways to make the content better.

Requirements

- Software Proficiency: Savvy with a professional editing software of your choice (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Wondershare Filmora, or Final Cut Pro).
- Equipment: Must have your own laptop capable of handling video editing software smoothly.
- Language Skills: Good command of English to understand detailed video scripts and briefs.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
