Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated ICU Staff Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of relevant ICU experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and assisting doctors during procedures and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and unstable patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, including BP, pulse, SpO₂, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Monitor cardiac rhythm and other ICU parameters.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, and monitors.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubation, CPR, and other critical interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, medication charts, and ICU documentation.
- Identify changes in patient condition and immediately report them to the doctor/senior nurse.
- Follow infection control, hand hygiene, and patient safety protocols.




- Perform proper catheter care, wound care, and other nursing procedures.
- Maintain emergency drugs, equipment, and ICU supplies.
- Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
- Provide proper communication and support to patients’ attendants when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, and quality standards.
- Participate in emergency and critical care situations as required.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant ICU experience.
- Good knowledge of critical care nursing and emergency procedures.
- Knowledge of ventilator and cardiac monitor handling will be preferred.
- Positive communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in rotational shifts.
