# Senior QA Manager ## Role Overview Nandan GSE is seeking an accomplished and results-driven Senior QA Manager to spearhead the Quality Assurance function across our diverse product lines, including Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Defence Systems, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE). This pivotal role demands a leader who will own and elevate our entire Quality Management System (QMS), encompassing IMS, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), document control, audits, calibration, supplier quality management, customer complaint resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving a culture of quality excellence, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding customer confidence and brand reputation. ## What We're Looking For We are seeking a leader with: * Strong leadership in QMS, ISO, and auditing * Deep analytical judgment (RCA/CAPA) * Proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams * A passion for building a strong, collaborative quality culture * Effective senior stakeholder management skills * Unwavering ownership and accountability * A disciplined and meticulous approach to quality ## Key Responsibilities * Own and manage the Integrated Management System (IMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), document control, internal and external audits, calibration programs, and ERP traceability across all product lines. * Drive 100% SOP compliance and ensure timely closure of all audit Non-Conformities (NCs). * Lead and successfully navigate ISO (9001, AS9100D) and critical customer/defence audits. * Govern and optimize incoming, in-process, and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) / Site Acceptance Test (SAT) inspections. * Drive significant reduction in incoming, in-process, and final rejection rates. * Lead initiatives to achieve high first-time FAT pass rates. * Lead Non-Conformance Report (NCR) closure, drive repeat-NCR reduction, and ensure swift customer complaint resolution. * Champion the depth of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). * Protect and enhance customer confidence and the Nandan GSE brand. * Lead supplier audits, rating programs, and CAPA initiatives to improve supplier quality. * Drive reduction in supplier rejection rates and foster continuous improvement in supplier audit scores. * Collaborate with the Purchase department to build and maintain a high-performing supplier base. * Develop and enhance QC and QA team capabilities through structured training and skill matrix development. * Cultivate a solid culture where Production respects and partners effectively with Quality. * Mentor and develop a solid bench of QA engineers and inspectors. * Lead Kaizen, ERP automation, and risk reduction projects to enhance operational efficiency and quality. * Drive sustainable rejection reduction and ensure process robustness across all manufacturing stages.



* Future-proof the quality system through strategic digitalization initiatives. ## Required Skills & Qualifications * **Experience:** Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with significant leadership roles. * **Education:** BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant quality certifications (e.g., Lead Auditor ISO 9001, AS9100D, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt). * **Technical Skills:** * Expertise in Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and maintenance. * In-depth knowledge of ISO Standards (ISO 9001, AS9100D). * Proven experience in Auditing (Internal, Customer, Defence). * Strong proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). * Demonstrated success in Supplier Quality Development. * Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies. * Experience with ERP Automation related to quality processes. * Strong Team Leadership and development skills. ## Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Have Skills) * Direct experience with quality requirements in the Defence Industry. * Direct experience with quality requirements in the Aviation Industry. * Understanding of Indigenisation Quality Requirements. * Experience with Kaizen and Lean manufacturing principles. * Proven ability to drive Digitalisation of Quality Systems. ## Work Culture & Expectations At Nandan GSE, we foster a disciplined culture governed by "First Time Right," "On Time Delivery," and "Quality at Every Stage." WFH, Remote, or Hybrid arrangements are NOT permitted. * **Work Schedule:** 6 days per week.
