About the Role

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Social Media Executive & Content Creator to manage our social media presence, create engaging content, and support our digital marketing activities. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of social media platforms, basic video editing skills, and graphic design abilities to create visually appealing and engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

- Manage and maintain social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Plan, create, and schedule regular social media posts, reels, stories, and other content.
- Develop a content calendar aligned with the brand's marketing goals.
- Monitor engagement, comments, messages, and audience interactions.
- Stay updated with social media trends, trending audio, hashtags, and content formats.
- Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements to increase reach and engagement.

2. Basic Video Editing

- Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Add captions, transitions, background music, text overlays, and basic effects.
- Ensure videos are engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand's identity.
- Repurpose existing footage into multiple social media formats.

3. Graphic Design & Creative Content

- Design social media posts, stories, banners, thumbnails, and promotional creatives.
- Create visually consistent content in line with brand guidelines.
- Use tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
- Assist in developing creative concepts for campaigns, promotions, and brand awareness activities.

Content Planning & Coordination

- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas and campaigns.
- Coordinate with team members to collect content, images, videos, and other required materials.
- Ensure all content is proofread, accurate, and published on schedule.
- Maintain an organised library of social media creatives and video assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other major social media platforms.
- Basic knowledge of video editing using tools such as CapCut, VN, InShot, or Premiere Pro.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Good creative thinking, visual sense, and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of social media trends, engagement, and content performance.
- Positive written communication skills and an understanding of captions and content writing.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

- A degree or diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A portfolio of social media posts, reels, or graphic designs will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn new tools, experiment with creative ideas, and adapt to changing trends.
