Job Details and Responsibilities

You are a confident, experienced, and (still) hands-on Basis Consultant who has worked across many different applications, databases, and operating systems. You want to continue learning new technologies, approaches, and solutions. You pride yourself in your ability to solve difficult problems others cannot. You are able to think outside the box and can conceptualize new designs and ways of working. You understand the need to and benefits of automating tasks to the maximum extent possible. Responsibilities

- Providing technical support for SAP systems run on AWS
- Responding to customer tickets in a timely manner, owning basis issues to resolution
- Proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
- On projects supporting the build and migration of SAP systems on AWS
- Liaising with infrastructure, security and other team members to support a customer’s requirements
- Providing out of hours support cover when scheduled to the support rota
- Deploying Lemongrass tooling to support the automation of basis and infrastructure activities

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP components
- Experience with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration.
- Hands on experience in supporting customer SAP systems and/or implementing and/or migrating SAP systems preferably to AWS
- Experience in SAP Installation, SAP Sizing, SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernal Administration
- Experience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party provider




- Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team

This position may require domestic and international travel as needed to meet business and client requirements.
