Full-time | Night Shift
About the Role
We are looking for an MBBS / MD General Medicine doctor with 1–5 years of experience to join our team as a Night Duty Doctor. The doctor will provide medical coverage to ward and emergency patients during the night shift, with support from Hospital consultants when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients admitted to the wards during the night.
- Attend to emergency and urgent medical cases.
- Monitor patients and identify any deterioration requiring escalation.
- Provide initial assessment and stabilisation of emergency patients.
- Coordinate with the concerned consultant when specialist input is required.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and Code Blue situations.
- Review investigation reports and act on clinically significant findings.
- Carry out treatment and instructions as advised by consultants.
- Maintain accurate case sheets, progress notes and other clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff regarding patient care and follow-up.
- Ensure proper handover to the incoming medical team in the morning.
- Follow Hospital protocols relating to patient safety, infection control and clinical documentation.
Qualification & Experience
- MBBS / MD General Medicine
- Valid Medical Council registration.
- 1–5 years of relevant hospital experience.
- Experience in emergency, ward or ICU settings will be an advantage.
- Candidates with ICU/Critical Care experience will be considered favourably.

- Responsible and attentive approach to patient care.
- Willingness to work regular night shifts.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
