ESTROC is a technology company developing solutions across Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, SaaS, Automation, and Emerging Technologies.

We are expanding our blockchain development capabilities and looking for interns with existing foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in blockchain technology.

This role is for candidates who understand how blockchain systems work and have experimented with smart contracts, decentralized applications, or blockchain networks.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts on Ethereum or EVM-compatible networks.
- Build and integrate decentralized applications (dApps) using Web3 libraries.
- Work with blockchain transactions, wallets, gas, events, and contract interactions.
- Research and implement blockchain consensus mechanisms, cryptographic hashing, and distributed ledger concepts.
- Explore Hyperledger Fabric, permissioned blockchain networks, and enterprise blockchain architecture.
- Develop blockchain-based solutions for digital identity, document verification, supply chain traceability, and data provenance.
- Integrate blockchain networks with backend APIs, databases, and web applications.
- Write smart contract tests and identify common security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in blockchain architecture discussions, technical research, and proof-of-concept development.

Required Blockchain Knowledge

Candidates should already understand the fundamentals of blockchain technology.

1. Blockchain Fundamentals

- Blocks, transactions, nodes, and distributed ledgers




- Public vs private vs permissioned blockchains
- Consensus mechanisms such as PoW, PoS, and PBFT
- Cryptographic hashing, public/private keys, and digital signatures
- Transaction validation, gas fees, and network confirmations

2. Smart Contracts & Development

- Basic Solidity programming
- Smart contract deployment and interaction
- Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)
- Remix IDE, Hardhat, or Foundry
- ERC-20/ERC-721 token standards

3. Web3 & dApps

- Web3 architecture and wallet integration
- MetaMask and transaction signing
- ethers.js, viem, or Web3.js
- Connecting frontend applications to smart contracts

4. Programming & Development

- JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Solidity, or Go
- Git/GitHub
- REST APIs and basic backend integration

Candidates do not need expertise in every tool, but practical blockchain knowledge and the ability to work on blockchain concepts are essential.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Hyperledger Fabric, chaincode, channels, and permissioned networks.
- Knowledge of smart contract security, including reentrancy and access-control vulnerabilities.
- Experience with blockchain testnets and local development environments.
- Familiarity with IPFS, decentralized storage, oracles, and off-chain integrations.
- Understanding of blockchain use cases beyond cryptocurrency trading.
- GitHub projects, hackathon participation, or deployed smart contracts.
