About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in residential and luxury villa construction. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, executing onsite construction, tracking material quantities, and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Supervision: Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring all construction work aligns strictly with approved architectural drawings, structural designs, and local building codes.
- BOQ & Cost Management: Prepare, review, and monitor Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Track material usage against the budget to prevent cost overruns and material wastage.
- Quantity Surveying & Material Estimation: Accurately calculate material quantities (concrete, steel, brickwork, finishes, etc.) required for various stages of villa construction for procurement and stock forecasting.
- Quality Control & Assurance: Implement stringent quality checks on-site for materials, workmanship, and structural integrity.
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with sub-contractors, laborers, and material suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of resources.
- Progress Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, track project milestones,



and report progress, delays, or safety incidents directly to the Project Manager.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working setting for all personnel.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-end site engineering experience specifically in residential villa construction or independent high-end bungalow projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in reading and executing complex architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and accurate material quantity calculation.
- Hands-on knowledge of construction sequencing, surveying instruments (AutoLevel, Total Station), and finishing works.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel (for estimation and tracking), and project management tools is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong leadership on-site, effective communication, and negotiation skills with vendors.
