About the Role

Dreamworth Solutions is seeking experienced and research-oriented Content Writers with a strong background in Journalism, Mass Media or Mass Communication to join our Media Monitoring & Strategic Communications team.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing skills in English and Marathi, robust editorial judgment, an understanding of the media landscape and the ability to analyse news, current affairs and emerging narratives.

We are particularly interested in professionals with exposure to political journalism, public affairs, government communications or policy-related reporting, as these backgrounds bring valuable experience in interpreting complex developments, understanding stakeholder perspectives and analysing media narratives.

The role will involve working across diverse sectors, including corporate communications, business, government, public affairs and other client-specific assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Media Monitoring & Analysis

- Monitor and analyse news across print, television, digital media and social media platforms.
- Track developments relating to organisations, industries, government policies, public affairs and current events.
- Identify key media narratives, emerging trends, public sentiment and issues of strategic importance.
- Analyse media coverage based on relevance, tone, sentiment and potential impact.
- Prepare daily media monitoring reports, news digests, executive summaries and analytical briefs.

Content Writing & Editorial Development

- Research and develop well-structured, accurate and engaging content in English and Marathi.
- Prepare news summaries, articles, press releases, reports, communication briefs and other editorial content.
- Translate complex news developments into concise, insightful and meaningful communication material.
- Develop content for corporate, institutional, government and public affairs-related assignments.
- Ensure factual accuracy, editorial consistency and high-quality writing standards.

Research & Media Intelligence

- Conduct in-depth research on current affairs, public policies,



industry developments, business trends and relevant stakeholders.
- Interpret media coverage and identify patterns, opportunities and potential reputational concerns.
- Support research-driven communication strategies and client presentations.
- Track significant developments and provide timely, actionable insights.
- Verify information through credible sources and maintain research accuracy.

Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare structured media reports and analytical summaries within defined timelines.
- Highlight important developments requiring immediate attention.
- Coordinate with Research, Strategy, Media Monitoring and Communications teams.
- Manage multiple assignments across different client accounts while maintaining editorial quality.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Media (BMM/BAMMC), Mass Communication, Media Studies or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in journalism, editorial content, media monitoring or research-based communications.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Excellent writing, editing and comprehension skills in English and Marathi are mandatory.
- Strong journalistic background with sound news sense and editorial judgment.
- Experience in news monitoring, media research, content development or editorial reporting.
- Ability to analyse news developments and produce insightful, factually accurate summaries.
- Strong understanding of current affairs, media narratives and the Indian media ecosystem.
- Excellent research, fact-checking and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality written content.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and adapt content to different industries and audiences.

Preferred Experience & Additional Advantages

Strong preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Political journalism,



political reporting or political communication assignments.
- Coverage of government affairs, public policy, governance and administrative developments.
- Media monitoring or research assignments involving political, institutional or public affairs-related subjects.
- News analysis covering political developments, public sentiment and stakeholder communications.
- Journalism or media research experience involving Maharashtra's political, social and administrative landscape.
- Corporate communications, reputation management, public relations or strategic media intelligence.

Candidates with a strong foundation in journalism and relevant exposure to political or public affairs reporting will be particularly preferred. However, the position is not limited to political communications and will involve assignments across multiple sectors.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will undergo an assessment covering:

- English and Marathi writing proficiency.

- Understanding of current affairs, governance, business and public affairs developments.

Candidates will be required to share relevant writing samples, published work, research reports or a professional portfolio demonstrating their experience and quality of work.
