Position: Marketing Manager – Sales

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Marketing Manager – Sales to develop and manage sales and marketing activities for our sweets and bakery business. The candidate should have robust knowledge of retail sales, wholesale sales, corporate sales, dealer/distributor development and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market presence.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop new customers.
- Increase sales through retail, wholesale, corporate and bulk orders.
- Identify and develop dealers, distributors, agents and business partners.
- Visit customers, companies, shops, hotels, restaurants and other potential business locations.
- Develop corporate customers for festival gifts, wedding orders and bulk sweet/bakery orders.
- Manage existing customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor pricing, products and promotions.
- Identify new markets and expansion opportunities in Tiruppur and surrounding areas.
- Coordinate with the production, purchase, accounts and branch teams for smooth order execution.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and submit them to management.




- Monitor sales team performance and guide the sales team to achieve targets.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, campaigns and local marketing activities.
- Develop new sales channels including online and institutional/corporate sales.
- Handle customer enquiries, negotiations and follow-ups.
- Ensure proper collection/payment follow-up from customers and business accounts.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
- Experience in sweets, bakery, FMCG, food products, retail or similar industries is preferred.
- Candidates with strong sales experience from other industries may also be considered.
- Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Tiruppur market is an advantage.
- Should be willing to travel locally for customer visits and business development.
- Should have the ability to manage a sales team and achieve targets.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
