About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounts of our construction company and government projects. You will own day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance and project-wise financial records.
What You Will Do
- Maintain complete books of accounts in TallyPrime, including project-wise cost centres
- Handle bill accounting, including retention, security deposits and statutory deductions
- Prepare and file GST returns and manage TDS and other statutory compliance
- Manage vendor, subcontractor and labour payments and reconciliations
- Handle bank reconciliation, cash flow and receivables follow-up
- Track project-wise cost, expenses and profitability
- Maintain stock and material accounting for sites
- Coordinate with the auditor and CA for audits and filings
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports
What We Are Looking For
- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter, M.Com or MBA Finance preferred)
- 4-8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in construction or contracting
- Strong hands-on expertise in TallyPrime (must)
- Good knowledge of construction accounting and government contractor accounting
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance
- Strong Excel skills
- Fluent in Malayalam and English
- Honest, accurate and well-organised
