Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting chefs and cooks by handling basic food preparation, washing and sanitizing equipment, maintaining cleanliness across kitchen stations, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service hours.

Key Responsibilities1. Food Preparation & Support

- Basic Prep Work: Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice vegetables, fruits, and meats under the guidance of chefs.
- Ingredient Handling: Measure out basic ingredients, assemble prep trays, and assist with portioning food items.
- Station Setup: Help set up cooking stations with required utensils, bowls, containers, and ingredients before service starts (mise en place support).

2. Cleaning & Kitchen Hygiene

- Dishwashing & Warewashing: Clean cookware, pans, pots, utensils, cutting boards, and dishware manually or using commercial dishwashers.
- Station Cleaning: Regularly sweep, mop, and wipe down kitchen counters, cutting tables, storage shelves, and cooking lines.
- Trash Management: Empty trash cans, compost bins, and grease traps regularly; clean waste disposal areas and ensure proper waste segregation.
- Sanitation Compliance: Follow all food safety standards, cleanliness guidelines, and sanitation rules (e.g., FSSAI / local health authority norms).

3. Inventory & Material Handling

- Stock Unloading & Storage: Help unload incoming food deliveries,



dry goods, and kitchen supplies.
- Stock Rotation: Organize items in dry storage rooms, walk-in chillers, and freezers following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Supply Monitoring: Keep track of cleaning supplies, detergents, dish soaps, and paper products, informing supervisors when stocks run low.

Key Requirements & QualificationsMandatory Criteria

- Education: High school diploma, 10th/12th pass, or equivalent work experience (formal culinary training is a plus but not required).
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience working in a restaurant, hotel kitchen, cloud kitchen, or catering company. Freshers with a strong work ethic are welcome.

Technical Skills & Capabilities

- Basic understanding of knife safety, food hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Physical capability to lift heavy food crates, stock bags, or large cookware (up to 15–20 kg).
- Ability to work comfortably in a quick-paced, warm kitchen environment.

Soft Skills

- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good listening skills and ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset during high-pressure service hours.
- Flexibility to work morning/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as per kitchen schedules.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
