Job Description – CDP (Indian & Chinese Cuisine)

Position: Chef de Partie (CDP) – Indian & Chinese Department: Food Production / Kitchen Reports To: Sous Chef / Head Chef

Key Responsibilities

- Food Preparation: Prepare Indian and Chinese dishes as per the restaurant's menu, recipes, and quality standards.
- Section Management: Independently manage the assigned kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Quality Control: Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, portion size, and food quality.
- Hygiene & Safety: Follow food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and personal grooming SOPs.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, maintain proper storage, and minimize food wastage.
- Mise en Place: Ensure all ingredients, sauces, gravies, and preparations are ready before service.
- Team Coordination: Guide commis chefs and kitchen helpers, ensuring productive workflow.
- Order Execution: Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time during service hours.




- Equipment Handling: Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Cost Control: Follow standard recipes, portion control, and FIFO procedures to maintain food costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Indian and/or Chinese cuisine.
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations independently during service.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and inventory control.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and time-management skills.

Key Performance Expectations: Consistent food quality, timely order dispatch, minimal wastage, strict hygiene compliance, and efficient kitchen operations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
