We are looking for a Senior IT Administrator to join our team and lead IT Security operations for one of our key client accounts. The role will be based at the client site and will work closely with the CTO.

Apply if you have:

- 5+ years of experience across cybersecurity, network and system administration, preferably within a Banking or Financial Services organisation
- Strong experience in managing client relationships, working with diverse teams and mentoring junior engineers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong report writing capabilities
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate/Sophos firewalls, VLANs and network segmentation, Microsoft 365, Windows and Linux Server administration

Responsibilities:

- Own and oversee IT security operations at the client site, including monitoring, access controls, endpoint security, vulnerability management and security incident response
- Manage and maintain network and system infrastructure,



including servers, networks, firewalls, endpoints, Microsoft 365 and other IT systems
- Monitor IT systems and security alerts, identify risks and potential incidents, and coordinate timely investigation and resolution
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of security controls, patching, backups, access management and other IT security measures
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT, network and system issues, escalating to specialist teams or vendors where required
- Guide and support junior IT engineers, review their work, help resolve escalated issues and ensure adherence to processes and security standards
- Work closely with the client, CTO, internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable delivery of IT and cybersecurity services
- Prepare regular IT and cybersecurity reports covering incidents, risks, system status, activities, issues and recommendations for the CTO
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, asset records, SOPs, security documentation and operational reports

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in BSC - IT/BCA or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network and System Administration
- Experience in an MSP, Systems Integrator, BFSI or other regulated environment is preferred
- Knowledge of SOC/SIEM, EDR and security monitoring tools
- Strong problem solving, decision making and stakeholder management skills
