- Assist in semen analysis as per WHO guidelines (count, motility, morphology)
- Perform semen sample processing for IUI (washing and preparation techniques)
- Assist in oocyte retrieval procedures and handling of follicular fluid under supervision
- Identify and isolate oocytes using stereomicroscope
Laboratory & Clinical Support
- Assist in sperm preparation for IVF/ICSI procedures
- Support ICSI procedures by preparing and handling micromanipulation equipment
- Assist in embryo culture and monitor development under supervision
- Perform embryo grading and documentation as per established criteria
- Assist in cryopreservation activities (freezing/thawing support)
Culture & Equipment Management
- Prepare and maintain culture media as per protocol
- Ensure proper labeling of media, samples, and consumables
- Monitor incubator parameters (temperature, CO₂, humidity)
- Maintain optimal laboratory conditions
Quality Control & Laboratory Safety
- Maintain aseptic techniques and sterile laboratory environment
- Ensure proper labeling and traceability of gametes and embryos
- Follow ART lab protocols and quality control measures
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
Documentation & Information Management
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
- Ensure proper data entry and traceability of samples
- Support audit requirements and compliance
- Collect, maintain, and ensure timely submission of quality and clinical data as required by medical administration for audits, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives
Patient Rights, Ethics & Confidentiality
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and laboratory data
- Ensure ethical handling of gametes and embryos
- Adhere to ART regulatory guidelines and standards
Education & Training
- Participate in training and skill development programs
- Stay updated with advancements in embryology and ART techniques
