Job Responsibilities

- Patient Billing
- Handle OPD, IPD, emergency and discharge billing.
- Prepare accurate patient bills and final discharge settlements.
- Maintain billing records and daily collection reports.
- Insurance & TPA Billing
- Handle cashless insurance billing and reimbursement documentation.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs for pre-authorisation, enhancement and final approval.
- Prepare insurance claims according to agreed tariff rates.
- Respond to insurance queries and follow up on pending claims.
- Hospital Billing Operations
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, pharmacy and laboratory for accurate billing.
- Verify charges for procedures, investigations, medicines and consumables.
- Maintain billing accuracy and minimise revenue leakage.
- Ensure timely discharge billing and payment collection.
- Accounts & Documentation




- Maintain daily billing and payment reconciliation.
- Prepare outstanding payment and pending insurance claim reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2 years of hospital billing experience.
- Good knowledge of OPD/IPD billing and hospital billing software.
- Experience in cashless insurance, TPA and corporate billing.
- Knowledge of insurance packages, tariffs and claim documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Ability to work independently and handle billing-related queries.

Preference: Candidates experienced in hospital insurance and TPA billing.
