About the Role

FRS Management Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Solar PV Designer / Solar Design Engineer to support the design, planning, and execution of rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects.

The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of electrical design, solar system sizing, technical drawings, and bill of materials preparation. The candidate will work closely with the sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solar System Design & Engineering

- Design rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems using relevant design software.
- Perform solar PV system sizing, generation estimates, and electrical calculations.
- Prepare Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts.
- Prepare conduit layouts, cable routing, wire schedules, and conceptual 3D designs as required.
- Generate solar energy production reports using PVsyst.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical standards, grid connectivity requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

2. Bill of Materials (BOM) & Proposals

- Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on project specifications.
- Identify and quantify solar modules, inverters, cables, mounting structures, and other electrical components.
- Coordinate with the management and sales teams to prepare technical proposals and project documentation.

3. Project Execution & Coordination

- Coordinate with sales, project management,



and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits, assess site conditions, and verify project feasibility.
- Resolve technical design and installation issues during project execution.
- Support project planning, quality checks, and commissioning activities as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in solar PV system design or solar project engineering.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and PVsyst.
- Understanding of electrical design principles, solar PV system sizing, and energy generation calculations.
- Ability to prepare SLDs, electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Knowledge of rooftop solar installations, grid connectivity, and applicable electrical standards.
- Knowledge of solar projects involving 11 kV / 22 kV / 33 kV / 66 kV systems will be an added advantage.
- Electrical Engineering qualification preferred.

What We Are Looking For

A proactive skilled who can independently handle solar design assignments, prepare accurate technical documentation, and support the successful implementation of rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹370,000.00 per year
