Job Summary

Ecopmin Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Service Engineer to lead installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical support for SMT machines and electronics manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, SMT production lines, and industrial equipment servicing. The role involves handling complex breakdowns, supporting customer projects, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring reliable machine performance at customer sites across India and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead installation, commissioning, machine setup, and production trials for SMT and electronics manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve complex machine breakdowns, electrical faults, control-system issues, and equipment performance problems.
- Provide technical support for Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, conveyors, and integrated SMT production lines.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve machine reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot sensors, motors, servo systems, pneumatic assemblies, electrical panels, and machine control systems.
- Handle SMT line integration, conveyor configuration, machine alignment, and production line balancing.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring equipment failures.




- Manage spare parts identification, BOM verification, component replacement, and service inventory requirements.
- Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and machine schematics.
- Support AMC contracts, scheduled maintenance visits, machine upgrades, and customer service commitments.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, internal engineering teams, and customers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide technical guidance and on-site training to customer operators and junior service engineers.
- Prepare detailed service reports, breakdown analysis, maintenance records, commissioning reports, and technical documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and service costs.
- Travel across India and overseas for installation, commissioning, customer support, and project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, ECE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in SMT equipment servicing, electronics manufacturing machinery, or industrial automation equipment.
- Strong hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown troubleshooting.




- Proven technical exposure to Pick & Place machines and Reflow Ovens.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, sensors, motors, servo drives, pneumatics, and machine control systems.
- Experience in SMT line integration, equipment maintenance, and customer-site technical support.
- Ability to independently diagnose complex faults and coordinate effective corrective actions.
- Solid customer communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid passport is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Experience with SMT machine brands such as Panasonic, Hanwha, Yamaha, or similar OEMs.
- Knowledge of PLC diagnostics, HMI systems, industrial networking, and machine connectivity.
- Experience with SMT line balancing, conveyor systems, machine integration, and production optimization.
- Knowledge of BOM verification, spare parts management, RCA, AMC, and preventive maintenance planning.
- Experience handling customer escalations and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
