1. Job Summary

Brite Engineers is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HVAC Project Controls Engineer to support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, data management, reporting, and project coordination. The candidate should have knowledge of MS Office, basic AutoCAD, project management skills, and the ability to solve problems and prepare professional presentations and reports.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain HVAC project schedules, work plans, and progress trackers.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against planned targets.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and pending activities.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), weekly progress reports, and monthly management reports.
- Maintain project data, employee and manpower records, material trackers, and project documentation.
- Assist in project cost tracking, budget monitoring, and resource planning.
- Coordinate with HVAC site engineers, design teams, procurement teams, contractors, and project managers.
- Update project schedules, spreadsheets, and trackers using MS Excel and other project management tools.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for management review.
- Review project data, identify discrepancies, and support corrective actions.
- Identify project delays, analyse problems, and communicate risks to the project manager.
- Read and understand basic HVAC drawings using AutoCAD.
- Maintain accurate data entry and ensure timely updating of project records.
- Support project documentation,



billing records, material tracking, and progress measurement.
- Use digital tools and AI-assisted coding tools, where appropriate, to improve reporting and workflow efficiency.

3. Basic Requirements

- MS Office: Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- AutoCAD: At least basic-level knowledge of AutoCAD.
- English Proficiency: Intermediate-level proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Project Management: Understanding of project management hard skills and soft skills, including planning, scheduling, time management, communication, teamwork, and coordination.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse situations, solve new problems, and develop practical solutions.
- Data Management & Data Entry: Ability to maintain, organise, verify, and update project data accurately.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to prepare professional presentations, progress reports, and management updates.
- Reporting Skills: Ability to collect data, analyse progress, and prepare clear and accurate reports.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and meet project deadlines.

4. Additional Requirements – Advantage

- Growsmart (ERP): Knowledge of Growsmart (ERP)
- Claude Code Skills: Familiarity with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted coding tools to support automation, data processing, and reporting workflows.
- Project Management Tools: Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Advanced Excel: Knowledge of formulas, PivotTables, charts, dashboards,



and data analysis.
- HVAC Knowledge: Understanding of HVAC equipment, installation processes, and MEP project workflows.
- AutoCAD: Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings.
- Project Experience: Experience in HVAC, MEP, construction, or engineering projects.

5. Education

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

6. Experience

- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and strong computer skills may be considered.
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, planning, reporting, or project controls is preferred.

7. Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience.

9. Ideal Candidate

A well-organised and analytical candidate with HVAC project knowledge, computer proficiency, project management skills, problem-solving ability, and strong reporting skills. Candidates with AI-assisted coding knowledge, including Claude Code, will have an added advantage.
