We’re hiring an experienced SEO Team Lead to own on-page and technical SEO across our client portfolio and lead a team of junior specialists in Jaipur.

About the role

We’re a growing SEO agency in Jaipur delivering SEO for more than 30 clients. We need a senior specialist who can take full ownership of on-page and technical SEO from day one.

This is not a role where you’ll be trained on the basics. You’ll bring the knowledge, set the standards, and teach the rest of the team how to write and optimise for search. You’ll work closely with the founder, who will hand over day-to-day on-page decisions to you so he can focus on strategy and clients.

What you’ll do

- Own on-page SEO across all clients: page optimisation, title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, schema and keyword mapping.
- Lead technical SEO: run site audits and fix crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, redirects, canonicals and sitemaps.
- Set the content standard: write clear SEO briefs and specs for our content writers, and review and sign off all content before it goes to clients.
- Train and lead the juniors: coach the on-page team, review their work, and build the checklists and processes they follow.
- Prioritise the work: decide what gets done first on each account and make sure deadlines are met.
- Report progress: keep the founder updated on what’s done, what’s next and what’s blocked, mainly over Slack and WhatsApp.

Essential experience and skills





- At least 4 years of hands-on on-page SEO and content experience, ideally 5 to 6, with strong technical SEO skills.
- Experience in SEO copywriting or content production, so you can brief, write and edit content yourself.
- A track record of leading SEO audits and turning the findings into fixes that improved rankings or traffic.
- Confident with standard SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
- Excellent written English. You’ll write briefs, guidelines and updates every day.
- Excellent spoken English, so you can lead team discussions and explain SEO decisions clearly.
- Able to work independently and make decisions without needing sign-off on the basics.
- Based in Jaipur, or willing to relocate, and able to work from our office full-time.

Nice to have

- Agency experience managing several client accounts at once.
- Experience mentoring, training or managing junior SEO specialists.
- Familiarity with common CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
- Basic HTML knowledge, enough to brief developers or make simple fixes.
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile experience for multi-location businesses.
- Experience with dental or healthcare websites.

Where and how you’ll work

- Office: Jaipur. Our new office opens in late October 2026. If you start before then, you’ll work remotely until it’s ready.
- Working hours:



10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST
- Start date: As soon as possible. Immediate joiners are preferred, but we’ll consider candidates who are serving notice.
- Commitment: This is a full time, in-house position. It’s not a freelance or project-based role.
- First two weeks: You’ll work alongside the founder to learn our clients, tools and processes before taking full ownership.

Hiring process

We move quickly and aim to make an offer within about a week of your first interview.

- Technical interview (45 minutes) with the founder.
- Paid test task (optional, 2 to 3 hours): If needed, audit a sample web page and write a short client-style update.
- Offer, subject to two reference checks.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
