Role Overview

Exceptional Ad Agency is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Shopify cum WordPress Developer to join our web development team. The candidate will assist in developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and e-commerce stores using Shopify and WordPress.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of website development, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to work with designers, digital marketers, and senior developers to deliver responsive, user-friendly, and high-quality websites.

Key Responsibilities1. Shopify Development

- Assist in developing and customizing Shopify stores and themes.
- Customize Shopify themes, sections, templates, layouts, and storefront components.
- Work with Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify theme settings.
- Add and manage products, collections, menus, and basic store settings.
- Assist with Shopify app installations and integrations.
- Support the development of product pages, collection pages, landing pages, and promotional sections.
- Help maintain responsive design and ensure compatibility across devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot basic Shopify theme and storefront issues.

2. WordPress Development

- Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and pages using Elementor or similar page builders.
- Work with basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP as required.
- Create and update website pages, layouts, forms, menus, and other website components.
- Install and configure WordPress plugins and themes.




- Assist with WooCommerce setup and basic e-commerce functionality.
- Troubleshoot website issues and support routine maintenance.
- Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and visually consistent with approved designs.

3. Website Maintenance & Optimization

- Update website content, images, banners, products, and page layouts.
- Assist with website speed optimization and basic technical SEO improvements.
- Identify and fix basic layout, functionality, and browser compatibility issues.
- Perform basic website testing before publishing changes.
- Follow website security, backup, and maintenance procedures under senior guidance.
- Maintain clean, organized, and reusable code wherever applicable.

4. Team Collaboration & Project Delivery

- Coordinate with UI/UX designers, graphic designers, digital marketers, and senior developers.
- Understand project requirements and implement changes according to briefs and references.
- Complete assigned development tasks within agreed deadlines.
- Share regular progress updates and report technical challenges to the team.
- Follow coding standards, internal processes, and project management workflows.
- Learn new tools, frameworks, and development practices to improve technical skills.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of Shopify and WordPress.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript.




- Familiarity with Shopify themes and Liquid is an advantage.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, Elementor, or similar page builders.
- Basic understanding of WooCommerce and e-commerce websites.
- Knowledge of website hosting, domains, and website deployment is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of website speed, SEO fundamentals, and cross-browser testing.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage assigned tasks within deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant skills, internships, or personal projects may apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in Shopify and WordPress development is preferred.
- A portfolio of websites, Shopify stores, or practice projects will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
