Job Description – Maintenance Head

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Head to oversee plant maintenance activities, ensure equipment reliability, minimize machine downtime, and manage maintenance operations across the Press Shop, Weld Shop, Tool Room, and robotic welding systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead overall plant maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Handle maintenance of press machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding machines, robotic welding systems, and other production equipment.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the Press Shop, Weld Shop, Tool Room, and associated utilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine breakdowns and production losses.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
- Manage installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new machinery and equipment.
- Monitor machine availability, MTTR, MTBF, breakdown frequency, and maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, and other departments to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, external service providers,



and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, maintenance documentation, and internal/customer audit requirements.
- Lead and train maintenance engineers, technicians, and supervisors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and productivity.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in sheet metal / automotive component manufacturing.
- Hands-on expertise in Press Shop and Weld Shop maintenance.
- Experience in robotic welding systems and industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Expertise in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Knowledge of Tool Room machinery, dies, and associated equipment maintenance.
- Experience in machine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PLC-based machine troubleshooting and industrial utilities.
- Familiarity with MTTR, MTBF, OEE, RCA, CAPA, and TPM.
- Knowledge of 5S, safety standards, maintenance audits, and documentation.
- Solid team leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
