About the Role

AWS Geek is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Mobile App Developer Intern to join our development team. The candidate will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications while gaining practical experience working on real-world products.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of mobile application development, programming fundamentals, APIs, and database integration. The candidate will collaborate with frontend and backend developers to build responsive, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Build user-friendly interfaces and implement application features.
- Work with Flutter, React Native, or other relevant mobile development frameworks.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement application designs.
- Test applications across different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix application bugs and performance issues.
- Assist in implementing authentication, navigation, forms, and data handling.
- Work with databases and APIs to retrieve, process, and display application data.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
- Follow coding standards and maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with QA testers to verify application functionality before releases.
- Learn and implement mobile development best practices under the guidance of senior developers.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of programming fundamentals.
- Familiarity with at least one mobile development technology, such as Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift.
- Understanding of UI development, layouts, and navigation.




- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of debugging and application testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate with the development team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Candidates pursuing or having completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Academic projects, personal projects, or previous internship experience in mobile application development.
- Familiarity with Dart for Flutter or JavaScript/TypeScript for React Native.
- Basic understanding of backend integration, authentication, and database management.
- Familiarity with Firebase or similar backend services.
- Experience building and testing an application on an Android device or emulator.
- Knowledge of app deployment processes for the Google Play Store or Apple App Store is an advantage.
