About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solar Permit Design Team Lead with hands-on expertise in U.S. and UK residential, commercial, and Energy Storage System (ESS) projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of solar electrical and structural design, permitting codes, QA/QC, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and perform QA/QC of solar permit plan sets, including layouts, electrical and structural calculations, equipment sizing, and interconnection details.
- Lead and mentor the design team to ensure technical accuracy, code compliance, and timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, resolve AHJ comments, and manage design revisions and technical queries.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, CEC, building/fire codes, utility standards,



and applicable permitting requirements.
- Stay updated on solar industry standards, regulations, and emerging ESS technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience in U.S. residential, commercial, and ESS solar permitting projects.
- Robust knowledge of solar electrical and structural design, single-phase/three-phase systems, and interconnection methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with NEC, CEC, AHJ requirements, and utility standards.
- Ability to independently resolve complex design and permitting issues.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Previous experience as a Senior Solar Designer, Team Lead, or QA/QC Reviewer preferred.
- Experience with U.S. permitting and utility interconnection applications is an advantage.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
