Job Summary

Catalyst Education is looking for a motivated, confident, and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students in selecting suitable courses and academic programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.

Freshers who are passionate about education and counselling are welcome to apply. Candidates with prior experience in the EdTech industry will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding available courses, academic programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand students’ educational goals and recommend suitable courses based on their interests and requirements.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Explain course details, eligibility criteria, fee structures, and admission procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, counselling sessions, and admission status.
- Work towards monthly admission and enrolment targets.
- Coordinate with academic and admissions teams to ensure a smooth enrolment process.




- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout the admission process.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in EdTech, education, student counselling, admissions, or sales will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, counselling, and convincing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Good follow-up, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a student-focused approach.
