Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our pharmaceutical company. The candidate will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other essential items while ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for purchasing requirements.
- Procure raw materials, packaging materials, machinery spares, and other required items.
- Obtain and compare quotations from different vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) as per company requirements.
- Coordinate with the Stores, Production, Quality Assurance (QA/QC), and Accounts departments.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Ensure materials are purchased according to approved specifications and quality standards.




- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Stores department to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Handle vendor negotiations regarding prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the Accounts department for payment processing.
- Maintain proper documentation and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain valuable relationships with existing and new suppliers.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate in B.Com, BBA, MBA, or any relevant field.
- Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical procurement will be preferred.
- Freshers with good communication and negotiation skills can also apply.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and purchase documentation.
- Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
