Your Task

You will support the AI project teams, especially the forecasting delivery unit, to implement and improve the data processing and machine learning pipelines across projects. You will be the backbone for Data Scientists, and work closely with team members and internal customers in Deutsche Telekom Group across Europe to optimize data solutions and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

- Support the AI project teams, especially the forecasting delivery unit, to implement and improve the data processing and machine learning pipelines across projects
- Work closely with team members and internal customers in Deutsche Telekom Group across Europe to optimize data solutions and infrastructures
- Evolve, harmonize, and refactor the existing solutions across projects
- Validate and implement business changes in the code repository and ensure its standardization
- Work with a variety of tools and technologies like Python, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm chart
- Develop and maintain applications in server/cloud environment
- Assist data scientists with productization of prototype applications – e.g., logging, monitoring, testing
- Write documentation and guidelines
- Automate processes for ETL
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: e.g., automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
- Participate in designing data architecture for various innovative prototypes and applications
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / ML Engineer with strong Python development skills, cloud infrastructure expertise,



and solid understanding of time series forecasting, who can work effectively in an international team environment.

Must Have Skills

- Working experience in IT (software development, automation, DevOps, or data science)
- Good understanding of time series forecasting and its scalability
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Preference for Linux over Windows
- Experience with at least one of the major cloud service providers
- Experience working on a fully automated CI/CD pipeline
- SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
- Ability to follow current trends in IT
- Ability to develop working solutions quickly and get things done
- Analytical thinking skills
- Affinity for structure
- Ability to grasp things fast and work systematically
- Team player mentality
- Openness for international workplace
- Ability to travel occasionally to Europe
