About the Role
Abhasa Rehab & Wellness is looking for a responsible and proactive Assistant – Maintenance to support the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge, a hands-on approach to maintenance, and a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and assigned tasks promptly.
- Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.
- Respond to maintenance complaints and support breakdown resolution.
- Conduct routine inspections and assist with preventive maintenance.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the maintenance area.
- Follow safety procedures and report potential hazards.
- Assist with inventory management and coordinate with external technicians when required.
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and support uninterrupted facility operations.
Requirements
- ITI or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, facility support, or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to handle tools and perform basic repair work.
- Positive teamwork, punctuality, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent maintenance requirements.
